IT Strategy Leader – Technology Company – Lisboa( Remote )

Luxe Talent, an international recruitment and training firm specializing in Executive & Middle Management positions in the Fashion, Luxury, Retail, Catering, Hospitality and FMCG sectors, is looking for an IT Strategy Leader, to join the team of an established technology company based in Portugal. This role will have the opportunity to work on a remote schedule. 

What you will be doing:

• Manage the company’s IT infrastructure with a strong emphasis on cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure. Focus on optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency while handling daily operations, including network security, automation, and AI integration
• Implement and maintain stringent security measures to protect data and ensure adherence to industry standards like ISO 27001. Oversee VPNs, firewalls, and certificate management to safeguard sensitive information and maintain secure connectivity
• Oversee the incident response process by monitoring alerts, logs, and security events. Develop and uphold disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and facilitate rapid recovery
• Define and execute IT strategies in alignment with business goals, fostering innovation and technical excellence. Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance IT operations and promote security best practices
• Supervise vendor relationships and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency throughout the organization
• Stay informed on evolving industry trends, security threats, and advancements in cloud and network security. Apply best practices to enhance infrastructure resilience and strengthen defenses

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years working with Microsoft Azure and IT security best practices, supported by a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
•  Strong background in cloud infrastructure, IT security tools (such as certificates, VPNs, and firewalls), and industry-standard security frameworks like ISO 27001. Familiarity with automation technologies and cybersecurity best practices is crucial
• Demonstrated ability to quickly identify and resolve IT issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
• Skilled in leading and motivating teams, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Dedicated to developing and improving IT processes, continuously seeking ways to integrate new technologies for enhanced efficiency
